Sunday I went to the St. Pete beach. More specific a certain part of St. Pete beach that is a known place where "family" tends to hang out. There was a top of "family there... it was like the gold at the end of the rainbow.. but with out gold.

So I was laying there getting some rays when I saw him. This handsome white boy laying about ten feet away. He was perfect... at least from what I could see. I don't know maybe it was the heat or the glare of the sun in my eyes but I was in love... at least until him and his friends left.

One surprising thing is that he would  sit up and I could see straight into his swim trunks. I know maybe it was wrong but he saw me looking and he didn't even put is leg down or re adjust himself to hide his not so hidden self. He just stayed in the same position.. it was like my own personal show.

I didn't have the balls to say hi so he ended up leaving with his friends and that was that. I guess we will always have the beach.. oh and this picture I took with my phone.

Just thought I would post some pictures of me and my cousin Katie when we where at my other cousin's Monica's wedding (her sister). Isn't she so pretty? But she is under age so watch out or I may have to put the beat down on you.

 

Because of the project I am trying to develop with my new company I have decided to learn PHP and MySQL. I know very little of PHP so I'm going in for the long haul.

I have started to read "Learning PHP & MySQL" by O'Reilly. It seems to be a pretty good place to start out.

I was going to try to learn ASP.NET but it seem that it is very complicated and very expensive so I'm going with PHP.

Let's hope it works out.

Ok so I'm a bit bored so I decided to make some mocks for a Zune t-shirt.

Though the grace of God (and niceness of my mom (I <3 YOU MOM!)) I now have a LCD HDTV. Whoohoo!

On Sunday I went over my moms house for a nice early birthday dinner. She had made all my favorite foods, Spanish Steak, Yellow Rice, Beans, Brownies, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. It was super yummy!

Then after she had two presents for one. One was in a small bag which ended up being some very nice cologne (BTW I have a VERY dulled sense of smell so I couldn't smell it). Then there was a 1x1x1 foot box. They (my mom and her bf Alex) told me I could either open what was in the box OR pick what was in the spare guest room.

I didn't know what to do. What would happen if I picked the wrong one.. I would be devastated for the rest of my life always beating myself up for not picking the other one leading me to a life of crime, drugs, and prostitution, and eventually dying in a drug raid in a shoot out with the FBI. This was a big decision which could affect the rest of my life. I had to choose well.

So I choose the box.

Inside the box was a remote control. I said "You guy got me a universal remote?" The all started to laugh my heart plumped knowing I had made the wrong choice and new the the rest of my life would be spent in the company of depression.

Then Alex took me and told me to close my eyes. I asked "What's going on?" He said "Let see what we got for you in the room.." I thought I was going to pee in my pants.

He took me to the room and I opened my eyes only to see the essence of God himself a 32-inch VIZIO LCD HDTV.

I'm glad I peed before I opened the presents.

My reaction "Holy F*#&ing Shit!". Then I shut my month quickly before I my mom would slap me for cursing.

So that's my story.

I love it.. it's perfect.. and I WILL make great uses of it.

With the upcoming release of Halo 3 Microsoft will be coming out with a Special Edition Halo 3 Zune. Its basically the same Zune we know and love except it has a nice Haloish theme chases and comes loaded with Halo music, videos and pictures. Nice.. now this makes me want a Zune even more.

Who's the luckiest of them all?

ME!

May 24th is my birthday and I will be 24 years old. But you already knew that. What you didn't know is that I got an early birthday present from my really good friend Chris (Yes! Chris the one that introduced me to the glory that is Xbox 360 and Halo.. which I am saving up for both).

I've always had my eye out for for a full length mirror... you know like the ones you see in the clothing stores with the big frame and there nice urban look just sitting on the ground while they lay against the wall. Well I've always wanted me and NOW I HAVE ONE!

Chris told me that he was going to surprise me by getting some help from my landlord and setting it up in my place so when I came home I would get a big surprise. But he is like me and was excited to show me so he did.

When I saw it I didn't know what to say. It is so amazing I have never had anyone be so nice to me. I literally was speechless and the next words out of my mouth where.. "I don't want you spending anymore money one me... remember you have to get that Xbox 360 (he has also been saving up for one, I was even wanting to buy him one if I had the cash, maybe I will)."

Maybe I should have said something else and maybe that is why I'm making this post to show him how much I appreciate his friendship, how great I think he is and how I appreciate everything he has done for me.

So now now not only do I have a great friend, I also have a great mirror.

Honestly I couldn't ask for more on my birthday.

Chris Your The Best!

I'm starting to get tired of my mobile phone and service. I currently own a LG Chocolate phone with Verizon service. I do like my phone and Verizon has some of the best coverage I have every had between all the networks I've been on but they are expensive.

I use my mobile phone for everything. I don't have a home phone (I tried Skype but it was a hassle and the quality wasn't all that great), I have a 1500 min plan with basic text messaging and picture messaging. I have noticed that in the last couple of months I have done a lot of text messaging and picture messaging. This isn't a great thing because I always go over and I end up paying about 15-20 dollars over what my normal bill should be.

Recently Verizon came out with new plans (I said plan not an add on package to your plan) where you can get unlimited text and picture messaging, something that other companies have had for quite a while now. What really bites is the plan is 20 bucks more then the normal plans AND you have to sign another contract to get on it. Unlike other companies where you can just add it on for 15 bucks a month.

So I'm in a bit of a pinch. Now with all the new live services and that I have started to blog, post, message, IM and email more I want to get a phone where I can do all of that without having to pay and arm and a leg.. like Verizon does. Ya I know I can do all that stuff on my current phone but at what price? 50 bucks on top of my plan cost.. no way and I paying that.

But there could be a solution, have heard of a wireless company called Helio's?

I have been watching this company for quite sometime and was very interested in it because all there plans include unlimited text, picture, mobile to mobile, Internet, IM, My Space mobile, email, and so on. All part of the price of the package and really if you compare prices its only about $20 more on top of a regular Verizon plan with none of that stuff.

But I never switched because I wanted more... and now they have given more. Helio just released a new phone called the "Ocean" it is the worlds first dual slider phone with a regular number pad and a QWERTY keyboard. It has a huge screen and you can do a lot of amazing things on it. All major IM clients and email providers are built into the phone (Live IM, Yahoo, AIM, Gmail, etc). Also all that is in a nice neat package so if I can look at the contact.. lets say Paul (wink, wink) and I see his email, phone number, and all his IM accounts all on one screen.

On top of that you can go online, view videos, take picture (even add tagged GPS info to the pictures), use Google maps with GPS enabled so you can see where you are. All that and its much cheaper then what I have now.

Sounds great huh.. so what is the catch? Well the catch is that Verizon charges $250 bucks to cancel my contract, on top of that the phone is another $295 (I think)+ activation and all that jazz. Its a bummer because if I want to switch I would have to pay around $500 money I don't have.

So what should I do?

Maybe I should just deal and not be so spoiled... lol

After 3 months of not going to the grocery store, I finally went and bought everything I ever wanted. You know they say you should by grocery when your hungry.. well there is a good reason for that, you end up spending $140 dollars on food that you want to eat at that moment.

So here are the before and after. If you notice in the first picture there isn't much of a selection. I was eating ham sandwich's with ketchup.. but then the bread ran out and I was just having the ham and ketchup.. yummy. Then that ran out so I had eggs for about 3 days.. but that didn't last long. Then it was hot dogs and that got old really quick.

I knew when I ran out of my Hershey Chocolate Syrup that is was time to buy food. I may be 23 (going on 24 in 2 weeks) but I can't live without my chocolate milk in the morning. What kind of person do you think I am? A savage. Chocolate is gods gift to the modern world and I will not live in a house without it.

So enough was enough and I had to go get food. I can't say I really bought food, I basically bought a lot of microwave food and pizzas. But my frig looks mighty full..

About 6 months ago I started a company called "Ecxo Corp". It's is a small startup which is going to fuel a project that I have been trying to get off the ground for about a year now.

Though I can't go into detail about what the project consists of,  I can tell you that at the moment I am looking for a freelance Web Programmer to start building the project. We are aiming to hire a young individual who maybe at the beginnings of his career and looking to get on the ground floor of a new company that has the potential to be very successful.

We have pitched our idea to a couple of companies and now have affiliated with After Dark Investments LLC., one of the largest entertainment conglomerates in the southeast, and have lots of other well known companies wanting to become sponsors.

Is if you don't know already I live in Tampa, Florida and for the past week there have been some really bad fires in Central Florida. This is causing a lot of smoke  around the state including Tampa.

It's pretty bad. In the morning it seems like it is a heavy fog but it doesn't go away. From what people tell me there is a really bad smell of smoke in the air and since I have a very dulled sense of smell (due to working with print and toner) it really doesn't bother me. But I have been having bad week with my allergies and I bet its mostly do to the smoke in the air.

 The crazy thing is today I noticed small specks of ash on my car with kind of freaked me out. I mean ya, they are small but every time I go outside I'm breathing this stuff in. All I can say is scary.

I really hope it clears up soon. The news stations are telling people to stay inside and try to avoid going outside as you could get sick from breathing in the air... great.

So I bet this will be a quite weekend spent at home. No because, no fun car rides with the windows down.. kind of sucks.

I meant to post this the other day but I totally forgot. So here is what happened..

I was doing my job, as usually and I felt my tummy get a little grumbly which ment "Hey, I'm hungry! Lunch Time!". So I shouted to my manager that I was going to step out for a moment to get a bite to eat. I asked him if he could watch over some of the print jobs I had running while I was out. He said "Ya, sure don't worry. See ya soon."

So with my empty tummy and a hope of filling it up with something tasty I left work.

About an hour later I arrived back at work with a smile on my face and a full belly (I even had to loosen up my belt up a notch, Boston Market will do that to you). I was happy as a bee and came into my print room in song and dance only to be stopped in surprise and a "oh shit" came flying out of my mouth.

Apparently my manager's "don't worry" doesn't mean crap because something had screwed up during my print run and all the printed sheets where curled up and thrown all over the place. See picture below.

So I had to clean them all up, throw them all away and start a new run. So much for depending on other.

But at least that 1/4 white chicken, mashed potato's and gravy, mac and cheese plus a corn bread with a Nestles Toll House chocolate cookie were resting well in my belly and had put a smile in my face. :)

Life Is Good!

After much thought I have decided that sometime this summer I am going to take a trip to Canada.

Why?
Who the hell knows..

I know that I have been wanting to do something new and exciting and I think taking a trip is a good direction. Also I want to explore new places and things. I could go somewhere like California or maybe Mexico but no. California would be nice but its expensive and I really want to go outside of the US. Mexico.. well no offense but its Mexico, and I would feel all that safe going there alone.

So its Canada, not too expensive, just around the cornor and I hear that the boys are pretty hot.

Wink, Wink..

After being completely stressed last week from all the painting I was very happy when the weekend rolled on in and I was able to enjoy it. I visited a friend of mine who has just purchased a new loft in Channel Side (Tampa, FL). And we ended up hanging out at the pool there (above). If you look at the picture you can see Downtown Tampa Skyline which is beautiful. The pool by the way sits on the 9th floor of the building so you can image how nice it was.

My living room and kitchen are FINALLY finished.. at least as painting is concerned. I love the paint and now can't wait to get new furniture and I want that freaking bad ass 42 inch LCD HDTV to hang on my wall. I don't think its too much to as for.. do you?
